History

The first appearance of a Zombie was the watershed moment in the Great War, when the Monstren and the Kingdom realized that they had to join forces or perish. During one particularly chaotic battle, a lone Knight ran across a small group of Zombies. Thinking they were just another Monstren "abomination", he charged at them and trampled over the lot. When he turned around to check on the damage, he was briefly surprised to see that the creatures he had just killed were picking themselves up off the ground and shambling back at him. His surprise was necessarily brief as both horse and rider were quickly felled and torn to shreds. The next time anybody saw him, he was shambling about in rags with a hunger for brains!

Strategies

The Zombie's major advantage is its ability to respawn when killed. When struck down, it has a 50% chance to pop right back up. When a Zombie dies and revives, it is considered a new Minion and will have an opportunity to Act, even if it had a Turn before death.
Zombies are best used to overwhelm an enemy. One Zombie on its own is not very dangerous, but a pack of Zombies can be deadly. Avoid using Zombies against opponents who favor Ranged Minions with Splash attacks.
The Zombie cannot be Summoned directly by the player, but is created by a Shaman. Control of Zombies is generally achieved by playing cards on a Shaman.
